Our History

Mainstreet was founded in 1985 as a full-service liquor store serving the local area.  In the 1990's we began to focus on our wine selections as an essential part of our business.  Since that time we have grown to be one of the "Top Wine Shops in the U.S." by increasing the depth of our selections while retaining our small store feel.

Our Store

We currently have over 10,000 square feet of retail space and an additional 10,000 square feet of climate-controlled cellared storage.  Along with our selection of wines, we also offer a full line of liquor and beer.  Our beer selection includes both domestic and imports, and features some small hard-to-find producers.  Be sure to check out our selection of assorted cheeses and gourmet food products and accessories that are sure to please.   Stop by and join us every Saturday from 2-6 p.m. for one of our themed wine-tastings.  Compare several different bottles, side-by-side, and ask questions of our experienced wine-host in an informal atmosphere.  Enjoy a special savings, as well.  Once in the spring and once again in the fall, we expand our wine tasting to include over 300 bottles tasted simultaneously.  Representatives from each different winery will pour and be on hand to answer all of your questions.  These events are free of charge and open to everyone, so come on in, and bring a friend! All wines featured in the tasting will be discounted by an additional 10% (15% for the big tastings) on that day only.
